About

Since finishing my degree in June 2010, an MEng in Electronic Engineering for Warwick University I moved home to North Wales to live in the mountains and work on the OpenEnergyMonitor project.

Since then I have built a comprehensive monitoring system for my own home, done a volunteer placement working on monitoring systems at CAT. I am currently working on developed the emonTx and more recently been working on taking the first steps towards setting up a business called Megni with Trystan Lea to offer energy monitoring services in the local area. 

I am also a keen climber and mountaineer. At weekends I work part time on the bar at Plas Y Brenin, the National Mountain Centre in Capel Curig. I keep a blog to write about my adventures, but mainly its just used to post photos!
