Yet to be officially released

If you're interested in the emonTx please complete the emonTX interest form. We will get in touch once we open our online shop in March 2012.

A few notes:

  • Although it's fully functional the hardware and firmware are still in development stage. This kit is best suited to enthusiasts who are already familiar with Arduino and have capable soldering skills. 

  • The Atmega 328 micro-controller comes preloaded with the Arduino Optiboot bootloader (select 'uno' under board menu), the emonTx firmware must be downloaded from github and uploaded to the emonTx using the Arduino IDE and a 5V FTDI cable (not included in the kit).

  • The emonTx with Seedstudio CT (included) have been designed to monitor currents up to 100A. This is the maximum possibly current in a domestic property in the UK.

  • The emonTx has not been tested by us outside the UK 

We have not got the resources to offer unlimited support. Please use the OpenEnergyMonitor forums. We will endeavor to provide help and answer questions on the forum when we can.

How to buy the emontx?

 I have been waiting for a long time for the store opening, but still with no message.

now I have a project prototype, I want to test it based on openenergymonitoring, so I want to know when it is ok to buy, If I am in London, is it possbile to get it ?

Apologies for the delay. We have been having some delays with PCB manufacture. We are aiming to lauch in the next week or so. Please fill in the online interest form and we will let you know when we open.

Apologies for the delay, there are a number of reasons for this. At the moment we hope to open next month however I am reluctant to set a date! The shop is pretty much ready to go, we are currently in the process of building up stock.
